Which works well as long as you have power ...
My farm house has propane/cook stove for heat and cooking. The beach house is electric with a outdoor propane flat grill or charcoal grill. Lights I have both lamps and candles, no problem there.
But I need to do something for heat at the beach house for winter ... Just in case, if you know what I mean. A wood stove is out so I need to look at other options.
Thoughts???

Depending on the output required you could consider a radiant propane heater, if propane is a reasonable cost, maybe a kerosene space heater, if kerosene is a reasonable price. without knowing the btu requirements and how long you will have the house, it is kind of hard to make much of an educated guess

I'm looking more for a emergency heater, if nothing else no more than one room.

I like the ...Mr. Heater Buddy 4,000-9,000-BTU Indoor-Safe Portable Radiant Heater. It looks like it would work well for what I'm wanting to do.
Thanks!

I bought a buddy heater that don't have a fan, after the freezing temps and outage back in february.i also bought a fan that sits on top of a wood stove, to use with the heater.gave them a small try.both work together very well

I have a dollar store D cell battery fan I use for power out heat dispersal, or did until I had to go electric.
